Get a closer look at NH’s diverse beauty with local photographer Becky FieldThursday, September 8 | 10:00 am
Since 2012, Becky Field has been photographing the lives of New Hampshire’s immigrants and refugees, highlighting the state’s cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity. Her photos of families, children, workplaces, and traditional ceremonies illustrate that we all have the same dreams of good jobs, bright futures, and freedom to practice our traditions.
Becky’s photographs have been on display across the state including at the University of New Hampshire and the New Hampshire Institute of Art. She has written two award-winning books, Different Roots, Common Dreams: New Hampshire’s Cultural Diversity, and Finding Home: Portraits and Memories of Immigrants. She speaks extensively on cultural diversity and immigration policy and has started a scholarship fund through the NH Charitable Foundation to help refugees complete undergraduate degrees.
